SKIING<\/h4>\n

The Orlice Mountains are a popular winter destination for skiers from both the Czech Republic and abroad. There are several ski resorts in the Zamberk area (Ricky, Cenkovice, Destne v Orlickych Horach). The Dlouhonovice ski centre, offering day and night skiing and 2 ski tows (of which one is for children) is just 3 kilometres from the cottage. The ski slopes are maintained daily by a snow truck and snow supplied by a snow cannon. Refreshments are provided by a covered buffet right next to the slope. The site offers free parking and unbeatably low prices. You will be given permanent ski passes and price reductions on skiing in Dlouhonovice along with your accommodation at the Bella Cottage.<\/p>\n

SWIMMING<\/h4>\n

In Ceska Trebova and Usti nad Orlici there is an all-year-round swimming centre with a toboggan, bubble bath, steam sauna and children\u2019s pool.<\/p>\n

TENNIS<\/h4>\n

You need not neglect your tennis even in the winter, as you can have a game in the indoor hall right in Zamberk.<\/p>\n

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING<\/h4>\n

In addition to traditional winter sports and swimming, you can also engage in walking and hiking, while the countryside around Zamberk is absolutely ideal for cross-country skiing.<\/p>\n

CYCLING AND HIKING<\/h4>\n

The Orlice Mountains and the surrounding area also offer numerous sports and leisure activities in the summer. The area surrounding the cottage is made for bike rides and hiking. There is a summer recreation centre less than a kilometre and a half from the cottage, where you will find two outdoor pools, a whirlpool, two toboggans, crazy golf, tennis courts and refreshments. The entire Zamberk district is interwoven with a series of cycle paths and signposted hiking trails.<\/p>\n

HISTORY<\/h4>\n

If you are interested in learning something about the history of the region lying beneath the Orlice Mountains, you can set off along the old smuggler\u2019s paths, visit the forts built before the Second World War, or visit some of the many museums in the area.<\/p>\n

SWIMMING<\/h4>\n

If you are looking for natural swimming sites, then Bella Cottage is the ideal place for you. 7 kilometres away you will find the Pastviny reservoir, which is also a popular destination for holidaymakers.<\/p>\n

GOLF<\/h4>\n

The golf enthusiasts among you will find what you are looking for in Hnatnice, 11 kilometres from Zamberk. There is a 250-metre driving range here, along with indoor tees and a training academy. If your heart is set on a golf course, then you can head for the new golf centre New America, which boasts the largest golf course in the Czech Republic and is famous for its luxury facilities. New America is around 70 kilometres from Zamberk in the direction of Jaromer.<\/p>\n
